The staggered release dates were implemented to prioritise older Singaporeans in recognition of their contributions to the country.

Mayor of the South West District Low Yen Ling explained that the first three weeks of July were dedicated to providing additional resources and support for elderly Singaporeans who require assistance with digital claiming or printing their vouchers.

All vouchers remain valid for use until 31 Dec 2026, providing citizens with an extended period to utilise their benefits.

Digital Claiming Process and Physical Postcard Distribution for SG60 Vouchers

Citizens can claim their SG60 vouchers by visiting go.gov.sg/sg60v or through the RedeemSG platform. The claiming process requires users to log in using their SingPass account.

After successful login, citizens receive a link via SMS from the sender ID “gov.sg” to access their vouchers directly on their mobile devices.

Senior citizens and individuals who are less comfortable with digital platforms can seek assistance at their nearest community centres, community clubs, and SG Digital Community Hubs.

SG60 Voucher Usage Guidelines and Merchant Participation

The SG60 vouchers function identically to CDC vouchers and can be used at all businesses that currently accept CDC vouchers. Citizens can find a complete list of participating merchants at go.gov.sg/sg60voucher.

Half of each citizen’s voucher allocation is designated specifically for spending at participating heartland merchants and hawkers. The remaining half can be used for purchases at participating supermarkets.

The voucher system forms part of the broader SG60 package that Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced during Budget 2025.

Citizens are advised to remain alert against potential scams related to the SG60 vouchers. No banking information or financial transactions are required during the claiming process.
