Footage of Secondary School Student Hitting His Own Mum Got Shared Over 2K Times
A mother was seen sitting on the floor assembling what seems to be a shoe rack for her son and getting slapped as she frowned upon his attitude.
The boy can be seen repeatedly slapping his mother while aggressively demanding for her to give him more money.
In the video, he was also seen moving his bicycle around and slamming it noisily within the apartment.
Later into the video, he stepped out of the frame and seemingly continued to slap her multiple times across the face as she sat on the floor helplessly. Even as he hit her, she continued to assemble his item for him.
At all points throughout the video, the mother did not even fight back or raise her hand back at the boy.
Within 20 hours, the video of a secondary school student slapping and physically abusing his mother went viral and has gotten over 2.1 thousand shares and over 27 thousand views at the time of writing.
Who Recorded It?
We are unsure of who recorded the video but the video remained stationary and did not move an inch which led netizens to speculate that it may be a propped up phone or an indoors Closed Circuit Television.
According to a timestamp on the video, the incident happened on 29 Sep 2020, at 9pm in the evening.
Love And Hate
Angry netizens flooded the comments with words like “she should have just given birth to char siew, at least you can eat it.” This came in reference to other comments called him roasted pork, a jab at his tanned Chinese skin.
The most commented was the Chinese phrase “不孝子”, meaning unfilial son.
The abuser was wearing his school uniform and expectedly, netizens have picked it up and tagged the boy’s school. Some netizens have even taken it upon themselves and e-mailed the institution privately.
The video has been shared on different platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Many popular YP (young punk) complaint sites have also uploaded the video to their main channels and reposted by many netizens.
School Has Responded
The school has responded to the public’s e-mails and pleas to bring the boy to justice.
They said that they are aware and have contacted the boy and his family.
The school added, “The boy is sorry for what he had done. The school is working with him, his parents and the police to help them resolve their family issues.”
