Snatch Thieves Steal Hamburger From Man During Traffic Jam

As the absurd title states, a man in Malaysia had his hamburger stolen from him while he was stuck in a traffic jam.

According to China Pressthe man, a fitness instructor, was heading to the pharmacy to buy something for his wife.

After purchasing the items from the pharmacy, the man felt hungry and bought a burger from a roadside stall before driving back home.

He bought a Ramly burger, and you all know how tasty that little thing is.

He ate the burger while driving and got stuck in a traffic jam on the way back.

The man said he was holding the burger with his right hand, while, presumably, he drove with his left.

He had also wound down the windows and turned off his air-conditioning because it had just rained and the weather was cool.

So, the hand that was holding the burger was next to the window, but he didn’t stick his hand outside the car.

It probably looked something like this:

But then, tragedy struck (his stomach).

Speaking to China Press, he said “Suddenly, I felt something knock my hand and the next thing I knew, the burger had disappeared! I looked around, thinking that I had dropped it as I was only holding the wrapper”.

He then realized that two men on a motorcycle had snatched his half-eaten hamburger, in what must be the weirdest case of snatch theft in history.

He added that he’d only had two bites of the Ramly burger.

Once he realized what had happened, the hamburglars had already sped off. Plus, he was stuck in a jam and couldn’t chase the thieves.

The burger-theft victim speculated that the thieves probably wanted to steal his phone but took his burger by accident.

Or you know, maybe they were just really hungry opportunists.

I’ve heard many stories of thievery where expensive smartphones, credit cards, and even laptops were stolen, but this somehow seems sadder than all of them combined.

Not being able to finish a burger is a traumatizing experience that no one should have to go through.

We hope that this man and his family will be able to move on from this distressing ordeal and start eating whole burgers again in the future.

At any rate, this harrowing story serves as a warning to us all; uh… don’t eat a burger while driving if you’re stuck in a traffic jam especially if you’ve wound the windows down because the weather was cool.
