South Korean actress Song Hye-kyo has shared a rare personal photo on Instagram, to the delight of her fans.
The 39-year-old actress, as her fans know very well, rarely shares pictures of her private life online, which explains why her social media snaps are mostly promotional shots.
On Sunday (11 July), Song shared a photo of her with 34-year-old actor Yoo Ah-in.
In it, Song was seen carrying her dog and pushing Yoo’s hand away as he tried to pet it. The caption read “The cool Yoo Ah-in”.
According to ST, this the first time Song has shared a photo with a man on Instagram since October 2016.
While the two were rumoured to be dating at one point, Song has said that Yoo is like a younger brother to her.
The pair are known to be long-time friends.
Fans hope the photo is a sign that Song and Yoo will act together again, as they are under the same management agency.
Song, who’s the star of television series Descendants Of The Sun (2016), last acted with Yoo when the latter had a cameo appearance in the show.
Song divorced her husband Song Joong-ki, 35, in July 2019, less than two years after the pair got hitched.
Yoo was actually at their wedding, and even delivered a touching speech for the couple.

When news that Song would be returning to television broke in January, fans were pleased, to say the least.
But they then discovered that her new drama was written by screenwriter Kim Eun-sook, the man behind the Descendants Of The Sun, and this sent them into a frenzy.
The eight-part drama series, titled The Glory, follows an aspiring architect who had to quit school due to severe bullying from her classmates.
She later becomes a teacher to take revenge on her bullies and those who remained silent at the time.
