When Back To The Future predicted flying cars in the 2010s, I don’t think this was quite what they meant.
Because in this episode of Baddy Feed, we have cars flying in the traditional way by speeding off a height, which is also seen in some action movies.
And if you’ve ever thought of trying that in real life, don’t. Cause in real life, this results in death and injuries of not just potentially yourself, but also others.

In the first video, you can see a red car driving fast on the highway.
At the turn, the car starts to lift off.
It then went off the bridge and fell to the lower road.
In the second video, we can see the accident from another angle on the lower road. A shadow of the falling car can be seen.
The car can then be seen crashing into the ground.
Crashing unto the ground had caused damage to the surroundings. In the video, a pole can be seen flying towards a passerby. It’s not clear from this video what exactly the car crashed into.
But a third video, from yet another angle, shows that the location was indeed a shelter with people.
It would appear that the car crashed into that exact shelter.
People can be seen moving towards the site after the crash, with dust and sand from the crash filling the air.
Driver Survived; 1 Mother Killed; 2 Hospitalised; And 4 With Minor Injuries
As TheNewsMinute reports, the accident took place at 1.19pm, 23 Nov 2019.
The driver, who was identified as Milan, survived the crash because airbags managed to be deployed on impact.
However, a woman identified as Satyaveni, who was travelling with her daughter, died in the accident. Her daughter escaped with minor injuries.
A total of six were injured and rushed to Care Hospital at less than 1km away. Two of the injured had to be relocated to another hospital, while the other four were given first-aid and later discharged.
A couple of new cars outside a Nissan showroom were also damaged.
Cause Of The Accident Was Speeding
Right after the accident, there were complaints taken to social media about the design of the flyover; it had steep ascent, sharp curves and a lack of signages.
And this criticism isn’t an unfounded one.
This is actually the second major accident on this flyover since it was inaugurated on 4 Nov 2019. On 10 Nov 2019, two people taking selfies were killed in an accident that also injured four people.
But according to a statement by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad: “On preliminary investigation, it is found out that the accident was due to the OVERSPEEDING car at 104 kmph instead of prescribed 40 kmph on the flyover.”
As the footage can already show, the design is just one part of the reason the accidents happened.
The flyover was temporarily closed down.
Let’s hope that the next flying car article will be one where the flight can actually be controlled.
