Speeding Car Hits & Kills Woman Who Was Arguing With Her BF In The Middle Of The Road

Arguments are a normal and even necessary part of relationships. They help you to iron out your differences and grow as a couple.

That’s why it’s not uncommon to see couples losing their minds yelling at each other in public because love can drive you crazy sometimes. But some people get so infuriated by their significant other that they completely forget their surroundings and where they’re arguing.

Like in the middle of the road.

A video of a horrible accident in Guangzhou, China involving a quarrelling couple has recently been released by the police.

At the start of the video, a couple, both of who were students, can be seen arguing in the middle of the road.

After a heated exchange, the girl grabbed her boyfriend from the back. It’s hard to tell but it seemed like the girl was trying to reconcile with her boyfriend with a hug.

However, the man was still upset with his girlfriend, so he shook her off and violently elbowed her in the stomach.

This caused the woman to stumble backwards, after which she crouched on the ground presumably in pain.

Just as the boyfriend turned back to check on her, a speeding black car crashed into the crouched woman and brushed the boyfriend.

Unfortunately, the girl died upon impact.

Boyfriend arrested

Police later arrested the boyfriend because his irresponsible behaviour on the road had cost his girlfriend her life and was considered a traffic violation as well.

According to Oriental Daily, the driver of the speeding car was also prosecuted for negligence and will be bearing secondary responsibility for the girl’s death.

It’s easy to get lost in the anger of an argument and forget your surroundings, but these petty squabbles are not worth endangering your lives over. This couple couldn’t have picked a more dangerous place to argue unless they were quarrelling in a bull ring.

Remember, if you are going to argue, make sure to do it somewhere safe, like, you know, not in the middle of the damn road.
