Pilot Surprises Parents On Flight
Showcased in a Jetstar Asia video on Facebook, a pilot named Raphael flew right into our hearts with a heartwarming act.
Knowing that his parents were flying on the flight 3K558 from Ho Chi Minh to Singapore, he switched flights with the pilot in order to surprise his parents.
He then made an announcement to kick off the surprise.
This marked the first time ever that his parents were on a flight that he was flying.
While his dad waved back, his mum missed this moment as she was in the washroom.
However, even from inside the toilet, she immediately recognised her son’s voice.

Damn, who’s cutting all these onions in here? *sniff sniff*
Is there truly anything more touching and heartwarming than a caring and supportive parent with a loyal and filial son?
His mother asked him to reach for the skies, and he truly did, both literally and figuratively.
I’m sure every parent would be in the same situation.

What? No, I’m not crying. It’s just allergies. Shut up, I’m not.
As some comments on Facebook have pointed out, it was pretty cool of Jetstar to allow him to organise this surprise and make this video.
Marketing strategy or not, who cares?
