Everybody loves online shopping. They’re cool, convenient and, most importantly, cheap.
But there’s one thing bad about online shopping (besides the wait for the items to arrive, that is) is that your items always get delivered when you’re not at home.
Which will lead to the following conversation:

“Hello, Mr How?”
“Yes?”
“I’m the delivery man and I got your items. Is anybody at home?”
“Oh, uh, no. But can you deliver to my office-“
*Slams phone*
“Uh, hello?…hello?”
Okay, maybe not in that vein but you get the idea.
So being the creative people that we all are, you decide to get the delivery people to hide it in your shoe rack, drop it between the gate and the door, or even better, get it delivered to your office.

But what if, what if, I were to tell you that you don’t have to do that anymore. At least not for Lazada purchases?
Lazada & Ninja Van Teams Up To Offer Free Delivery Services
If you want to know which is the most successful chain in Singapore, it’ll be 7-Eleven.
I mean, they’re everywhere. Sometimes, you walk two blocks and you’ll see another 7-Eleven. Not kidding.
And now, Lazada is looking to make use of 7-Eleven to value-add to their customers. They’ve teamed up with Ninja Van to create the 7-Eleven delivery service.
Instead of getting your purchases delivered to your house (and risk missing it), you can get them delivered to the nearest 7-Eleven instead.

Then, you can pick up your purchases on your way home.
The new collection service will start at 159 7-Eleven stores from today onwards, and it’ll be gradually rolled out to the remaining outlets by the end of the year.
But that’s not the best part.
This New 7-Eleven Delivery Service is FREE!
I’m pretty sure this concept isn’t new. I mean, shopping malls have lockers where you can collect your stuff too.
But here’s one good thing about the service: it’s completely free. In other words, we’re looking at free delivery all day, every day.

Just take note that in order for your purchase to be able to qualify for the service, it must be:
- Less than 5KG
- Smaller than 80cm in width, height and length.
A Response To The Changing Lifestyles of Singaporeans
This move was done in response to the changing lifestyles of Singaporeans, where unlike the past, there is usually nobody at home during the day (both husband and wife must work, yeah?)
This collaboration, 7-Eleven Singapore’s head of marketing Crispian Leong says, will make it the largest network of collection points around Singapore.
Well, all I can say is no more having to waste hours away at home just waiting for the delivery people to arrive.
Okay, going to shop now. BRB.
