If you’re an avid Starbucks lover like me, you would know that Starbucks has been going crazy with its latest Sakura collection.
On 19 February 2019, I got an e-mail from Starbucks Rewards with the e-mail title “It’s officially Sakura season 🌸”.
From then up till recently, I have received a total of three Sakura-themed related e-mails from them.
You may think that 3 e-mails don’t say much, but all three e-mails contained new Sakura-themed merchandise.
Guess they’re not letting this season’s theme die down anytime soon.
Sakura Everything
I’m not going to lie, this series has very, very pretty merchandise that I’ve been dying to get my hands on.
The series has cold cups, bottles, ceramic plates, tumblers, cups and pretty Starbucks cards. For those Sakura lovers out there, you’d be spoilt for choice.
Take these for an example.
Like seriously, how can you not find any of these pretty? A combination of pastel colours and white, I’m surprised I haven’t gone bankrupt yet trying to collect this entire series.
From left to right, the prices are $29.90, $49.90 and $36.90. You can’t always get what you want, sadly.
P/S: To all my friends out there, here’s a birthday present suggestion from me and for me.
The Spring Blossom Bearista
In 2017, Starbucks released our very own local Bearista Bears that were dressed in Merlion and Samsui Women outfits.
To accompany the season this year, Starbucks has released a Spring Blossom Bearista dressed in, and according to the Starbucks website, “her favourite spring get-up, all ready for a breezy day out.” She’s all yours at $32.90.
Another Level of Bearista
If you can’t get enough of the Bearista or the Sakura collection, Starbucks has something for you. You can get the best of both worlds with a Bearista cup lid to keep your drinks warm in your Sakura themed cup.
They’re shaped in the form of a Sakura and have smaller flowers adorned the individual petals.
This Bearista is seated right in the middle of the flower and is sipping on a pink frappuccino to match the pink theme of this cup lid.
Just look at the little paw prints on it too, isn’t that cute?
Next up is the next design which is purple themed. Yes, purple Sakuras may not exist, but this one is really pretty.
Like the pink one, Sakura flowers also adorn each individual petal of the big flower. Everything else is the same except this Bearista is white with a little bow on its head, and it’s holding a hot drink instead of a frappuccino.
These would cost you $18 per lid and have already been made available since 25 March.
But these cute lids aren’t the only thing released by Starbucks Singapore on 25 Mar.
Japan Exclusives
Just when you think that the Singapore series is not enough, Starbucks is bringing in more Sakura merchandise from Japan.
These have been made available in stores since yesterday (25th March), and are only available for a limited period of time.
So hurry and get your hands on these before they’re sold out.
You can find the nearest Starbucks here.
