With Vladimir Putin being hostile towards Ukraine, you would think that his soldiers share the same intent, right?

Well, unfortunately for him, some latest footage of the war shows quite the opposite and it has even got millions of views.

Ukrainian Man Offers to Tow Russian Tank

So what exactly was so ironic about this video that made it go viral?

Well, in the video, a Ukrainian man drove up towards Russian soldiers who had apparently run out of fuel and become stranded on a highway.

The Ukrainian then proceeded to tell them jokingly that he could help tow their tank back to Russia.

To which, the Russian soldiers laughed.

Surprise, surprise. Despite being on opposite sides of the war, the “opposing” citizens do not seem to have a problem with each other.

No Idea Where They Were Headed

In the same video, the Ukrainian also asked the Russian soldiers where they were headed. Believe it or not, they replied, “No”. What?

It seems like an almost incredulous situation, heading into war without an idea of where to go.

After the Russian soldiers failed to respond, the Ukrainian man then told them that they were on their way to Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.

When the Russians asked him about the news of the war, the Ukrainian man told them that they should just surrender as they “do not know where they are going”.

The Ukrainian man then began to accelerate his car, but not before saying that he had asked “the whole column” of invaders and no one knew where they were or where they were going.

A few seconds later, he could be seen driving past another stationary tank.

Though the origins of the video are unknown, it has since been widely shared on social media, including by NBC News on TikTok.

Current Situation

Three days into its invasion, Russia had sent in more than half of the 150,000 troops it had surrounding Ukraine.

Fighting has broken out in both the capital of Kyiv and the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.

However, Ukraine still retains control of its capital, with the defenders putting up a stronger-than-expected resistance against the Russian military that commands superior equipment.

Ukrainians continue to remain strong with other social media footage showing even farmers towing away Russian tanks with their tractors.

For all its horrors, there seem to be some light-hearted moments during the war, which just show how the people most affected by it aren’t actually the ones who want it.
