T-Rex Appearing in Newsroom Shows The Fun Side of CNA

What comes to your mind when you think of CNA?

This serious newsroom?

Or good-looking newscaster who don’t bat an eye when reporting about a cat that passed out after sniffing its owner’s feet?

However, if you watch the channel regularly, you’d know that the hosts do joke occasionally, especially in the morning show, though they’ll make sure they keep put on their poker face when they’re reporting hard news—or even soft news.

You won’t have expected them to play a prank on one of their newscasters: especially when they’re reporting the news.

But they just did, and it won the Internet.

Baby T-Rex Appeared Behind Newscasters

So, CNA had previously reported about WALKING WITH DINOSAURS – The Live Experience, a dinosaur show that’s so realistic, you’d have thought that you’re in the same room with a real dinosaur if not for the human legs.

These dinosaurs, based on a BBC television series, would be roaming in the Singapore Indoor Stadium from 29 August 2019 to 8 September 2019, with tickets from $78.

So, how real are they?

This real.

In the image below, you can see how everyone in the CNA office was so engrossed that they just stared at the baby T-Rex doing mindless things while the hosts spoke.

Okay, so this is just another report that we’ll forget about soon…until something else happened.

On Tuesday night, the CNA Facebook Page posted this hilarious footage, aptly named “T-rex in the newsroom”:

The baby T-Rex was behind the newscasters throughout, and when Steve Lai turned, he got a shock and still maintained his composure.

Professionalism at its best.

Steve then posted this:

If you can’t read, here’s what he’s written:

I got well and truly played. Kudos to Dawn, the crew and the newsroom. I’d seen colleagues with camera gear practicing and setting up shots in the newsroom but everyone I asked told me they were filming a documentary for Current Affair. Totally caught by surprise when Baby T (baby T-Rex not a raptor) appeared behind us. Hope you guys enjoyed it. It was good fun.

I don’t know about you, but if news had always been so interesting, I’d have changed my TV to digital TV and watch CNA daily.

I’m not the only one who has not switched to digital TV, right?
