Great news for Easties.
A new dessert cafe by the name of Taira Pastry has recently opened at SAFRA Tampines.
“Taira” stands for balance in Japanese, which follows the cafe’s philosophy that life is all about balance.
The owners explain:
“In a fast paced city like Singapore, people tend to always be in a rush and may often feel stressed and anxious. We hope that our desserts will remind customers of the little moments in life that bring joy and allow them to slow down and breathe.”
If you have time to spare, consider trying out the cafe’s Hand Brew Coffee or Uni Matcha drinks.
The cafe uses Uji matcha powder, which is the highest grade of matcha in Japan, prepared using the youngest tea leaves.
For pastries, be sure to give the cafe’s Sweet Mini Tarts a try, where you’ll get to choose your preferred flavour and toppings.
All of the cafe’s mini tarts are freshly made from scratch with high quality butter that has no palm oil, preservatives, colourings or other additives.
If you’re in a rush, the cafe also has bottled drinks and ready-made cakes and pastries that you can grab and go.
