Tan Kin Lian Now Said “Polls and Bookie Results” Are Unreliable
On 4 Sep 2023, Tan took to his Facebook page to express his disappointment at the result of his bid for presidency.
He said that several of his friends were “shocked” at his results.
Apparently, they had seen straw polls and bookie results indicating that he was far ahead in the race.
Tan, however, said that he was disappointed, but not shocked.
When he saw the bookie results, he had wanted to know the source, but couldn’t find any. Straw polls, similarly, are biased as they used a biased sample.
Calling it misinformation, Tan highlighted that this phenomenon is happening in both mainstream and alternative media.

Not the First Time Tan Shared About Predictions & Illegal Bookies
Tan is very aware of illegal bookies and predictions around him, and he isn’t afraid to share about them on his Facebook page.
Back on 15 August 2023, Tan said he was told that his odds with the bookies was “the lowest among four contenders”.
He had tried to search for the bookie’s odds online but couldn’t locate it. He was then told by his friend to ignore “these fake bookie odds” as they are not real.

The post ended off warning that “Tharman could be in for the biggest shock of his life”, and “we shall see”.
So, What’s Next For Tan Kin Lian?
While Tan is disappointed with his results, that does not mean his journey will end.
