A 16-year-old boy has been arrested for criminal intimidation after violently assaulting a teenage girl at a Bedok coffee shop. The incident, which was captured on video and shared on social media, shows the boy pushing, kicking, and pulling the victim’s hair.
The assault occurred on Monday afternoon (26 May 2025) at a coffee shop near Block 418 Bedok North Avenue 2. The 16-year-old girl suffered minor injuries but declined hospital treatment.
The Violent Confrontation
TikTok user “cewlinnn” posted a video showing the disturbing attack. The footage reveals a boy wearing a helmet pushing and shoving the girl while speaking animatedly.

He forcefully shoved her to the ground. The boy then kicked her repeatedly. When the girl attempted to sit up, he grabbed and yanked her hair aggressively.
Two other teenagers, believed to be friends of the pair, were present during the incident. One female friend tried to intervene and defuse the situation.
Bystanders eventually stepped in to stop the violence. They called the police immediately after.
Police Investigation and Arrest
Police received the emergency call at 2:35 PM on Monday. Officers responded to the scene promptly.
The 16-year-old victim sustained minor injuries from the attack. She refused medical treatment and was not taken to hospital.
Police arrested the 16-year-old male suspect for criminal intimidation. He is currently assisting with investigations.
The case remains under active investigation, according to police statements.
