The case gained public attention after Facebook page Tan Bao shared the story on 10 May 2025.

The group, known as the “Kham Ngen family,” consists of a 34-year-old mother, her husband who works as a park ranger, and their nine children ranging from ages 2 to 21.

According to online reports, four girls from the family allegedly recorded explicit videos together. The youngest child involved, a 10-year-old girl identified only as Tangmo, was reportedly seen performing sexual acts with her father.

The family members reportedly include 21-year-old Kham Ngen, 18-year-old Sim, 17-year-old Tom, 15-year-old Fah, 12-year-old Tangtai, 11-year-old Sailom, 10-year-old Tangmo, seven-year-old Thong Kham, and two-year-old Thong Kao.

Reports indicate that six of the nine children were involved in creating explicit content, while three children—Sailom, Thong Kham, and Thong Kao—were allegedly not part of the production.

The father purportedly appeared in videos wearing his park ranger uniform, with family members allegedly creating individual explicit content.

Non-Profit Organization Confrontation Leads to Child Rescue

Chalida “Ton Or” Palamart, founder of the Be One non-profit organization, visited the family’s home with the aim of rescuing the children and bringing the parents to justice.

The family initially denied all accusations, claiming the videos were artificially generated.

After persistent questioning, Kham Ngen eventually admitted to creating pornographic videos but maintained that none of the young children were involved.

When confronted with evidence that children appeared in the explicit material, the mother allegedly defended her actions by citing bodily autonomy.

“Don’t you have a vagina? If you do, you have sex with your husband, so what’s the problem? I have my vagina and I should be able to do anything I want with it. Why do you have to interfere!” she reportedly told Chalida.

This response angered Chalida, who responded that while personal rights exist, they must be exercised within legal boundaries and should not involve children in illegal activities.

Officials from the Social Development and Human Security Office in Phetchabun had previously visited the family but were unable to stop their activities. The mother reportedly clashed with officials and threatened to sue them for trespassing.

Following the confrontation with Chalida and police, authorities took five family members under the age of 18 to a temporary shelter. The children will undergo health examinations to check for signs of sexual abuse.

Local police are now investigating the pornographic videos and financial transactions of the family before filing formal charges against them.

Public reaction to the case has been mixed, with some arguing it was a private family matter while others expressed concern about child welfare and the negative social impact of the content.
