Nittaya was married to Arsiaโ€™s brother, 52-year-old Plew.

After further questioning, Arsia confessed to the crime. He claimed to be angered over Nittayaโ€™s meal preparation for his 77-year-old mother, Kern, stating she only served omelettes.

Arsia insisted there were no other conflicts between him and his sister-in-law or brother. He admitted to being under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred.

The family lived in separate arrangements. Nittaya and Plew resided with Kern, while Arsia lived in a nearby house with his father.

Plew told KhaoSod that he and his wife had visited his fatherโ€™s house to borrow money. A heated argument broke out between them over their motherโ€™s food during this visit.

Arsia threatened to shoot them during the argument. Plew did not believe his brother would follow through with the threat.

Mother Contradicts Sonโ€™s Claims About Meal Quality

Kern told Amarin TV that she could no longer tolerate spicy food and actually preferred omelettes. She stated that Nittaya had provided a variety of meals, but Arsia was unaware of this because he lived separately.

Nittaya had only moved into Kernโ€™s house one year earlier. She had previously been married and had two children with her ex-husband.

Plew expressed deep remorse for asking his wife to live with his family. He believed this decision ultimately led to her tragic death.

Before he was transferred to prison, Arsia apologised to his parents. His father urged him to fully confess to the police and take responsibility for his actions.
