Miss World 2025 Competition Structure and Results

The competition began with contestants showcasing their national costumes in a parade. Each participant then presented herself individually in evening gowns, organised by continent.

Organisers selected the top 40 contestants from four continental groups. The Americas & Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and Asia & Oceania each contributed 10 representatives.

Several contestants advanced automatically to the top 40 through fast-track events. Chuangsri secured first place in the Asia & Oceania Multimedia Challenge, guaranteeing her spot.

The top 20 finalists represented:

  • Americas: Argentina, Brazil, Puerto Rico, United States, and Martinique
  • Africa: Cameroon, Ethiopia, Namibia, Nigeria, and Tunisia
  • Europe: Iceland, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, and Wales
  • Asia & Oceania: Australia, India, Lebanon, Philippines, and Thailand

Eight contestants made it to the final round: Brazil, Martinique, Ethiopia, Namibia, Poland, Ukraine, Philippines, and Thailand.

The final eight answered the question: “Do you believe you deserve to be Miss World and the representative of Asia & Oceania?”

Chuangsri compared her role to tending a flower garden. “Anyone can water the plants, but to create a truly beautiful and sustainable garden, there must be someone who nurtures it consistently,” she said.

She continued: “Through the Beauty with a Purpose programme, I have learned that living a meaningful life means giving back dreams and hope to those who have lost them. That is why I stand here today—to be a beacon of hope, a source of strength, and to leave behind a legacy of purpose until my very last breath.”

The four continental winners were Martinique (Americas & Caribbean), Ethiopia (Africa), Poland (Europe), and Thailand (Asia & Oceania).

The final four faced one last question. Chuangsri received: “How has this journey taught you about truth and personal responsibility in shaping the stories that are told?”

Her response emphasised leadership and responsibility. “The most significant action that I, along with all the contestants and everyone in this room, can take is to be role models—individuals whom others can look up to,” she said.

She added: “The best way to guide them is through leadership rooted in kindness and action, because our actions always speak louder than words.”

Hasset Dereje Admassu of Ethiopia finished as first runner-up. Maja Klajda of Poland claimed second runner-up, while Aurelie Joachim of Martinique became third runner-up.

Unlike many previous Thai beauty queens, Chuangsri is not of mixed heritage but speaks Chinese, English, and Thai fluently. She attended international schools from an early age and graduated from Triam Udom Suksa School in Bangkok with Chinese language specialisation.

She currently studies international relations at Thammasat University’s Faculty of Political Science. Chuangsri aspires to become a diplomat, aligning with her new role as Thailand’s global ambassador.

Doctors diagnosed Chuangsri with breast cancer at age 16. She underwent surgery to remove tumours from her body.

This personal experience led her to establish the “Opal for Her” initiative supporting women with breast cancer. She has promoted the project for over three years, advocating for greater awareness and prioritising breast cancer victims.

Chuangsri plans to expand the initiative’s reach worldwide using the Miss World platform.

Before Miss World 2025, Chuangsri represented Thailand in Miss Universe 2024 and finished as third runner-up. However, the Miss Universe Organization withdrew her title in April 2025 due to contract breach.

She joined Miss World Thailand 2025 before completing her 12-month Miss Universe reign.

“This moment is not just a personal victory; it is a shared dream of every young girl who wants to be seen, heard and to create change,” Chuangsri said in her first speech as Miss World 2025.

“I am honoured to represent this legacy and use my time as Miss World to make a real difference.”
