All good things must come to an end, whether it’s a sumptuous bowl of chicken soup, a grandiose concert performance…
Or a nostalgic animal resort, which brings locals right back to the 60s.

Everything About the Closure of The Animal Resort
According to The Animal Resort’s Facebook page, the animal feeding farm will be ceasing operations on 10 January 2021.
The decision was made in light of the farm’s inability to comply with NPark’s requirements – which reportedly required them to invest around $250,000 to earn a 2-year extension.
The sum’s purportedly intended for the upkeep and maintenance of the place.
Sensing the illogicality of the situation, and accounting for the notion that there will be no further extension beyond the two-year period, The Animal Resort ultimately decided to stop pursuing a renewal license. The lack of an appropriate space to shift the animals to also contributed to the farm’s decision.
As a result, they will be closing shop for good this coming 10 January.
Apparently, more than half of the farm will be utilised to build roads – a notion that limits any possible renewal option to 2022.
It should be noted that other farms in the area seem to have escaped the terrible fate that has befallen The Animal Resort, as the government do not plan to take back other pieces of land in the area.
“Hence, hereby with a heavy heart, we are announcing that the last day of operations for “The Animal Resort” will be 10 Jan 2021,” said The Animal Resort.

“After that, we will be busy rehoming our animals, and making sure they are safe and in good hands.

Instead, it’s one that offers a huge throwback to the 60s – times when kampungs were still rampant.
Apart from free roaming chickens and wooden huts, the farm is also brimming with horses, peacocks, guinea pigs, fishes and many more critters.
One thing’s for certain;
It offers an experience like no other.
