Imagine you are playing a game of UNO:
*Heart palpitates*
*I’m on my second last card*
*ooh, he has made his move, it’s my turn now and I need to shout…UNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*
Remember a time when UNO was a thing?
There’s classic UNO
Beach UNO
Disney Princess UNO
If you have not played UNO in your life, you were probably born after the time when smartphones took over the world or before UNO was created.
For the rest of us, we’ve played UNO at least once in our lives before. Finding something to do to avoid awkward conversations during Chinese New Year or playing the most intense UNO game ever at a birthday party.
So, you know that favourite move that we all have? *sinister chuckle* Adding a +2 card to a +4 card to dodge having to take more cards? Yeah! Well, you are actually not allowed to do that!
UNO Says You’ve Been Doing It All Wrong
We’ve been doing it wrong all along. UNO announced on its Facebook page in early May that it is actually illegal to do such a move.
This means that you will have to draw four cards before you lay down your +2 card and the next player will have to draw 6 cards! *Oof*
But That’s Not All
To add on to that, You CAN win with an ACTION card!
In the past, we would frustrate over the fact that we could not end with an action card. UNO has set the record straight that YOU CAN actually end a game with a WILD, SKIP or REVERSE! Now you will not have to draw another card just to end the game.
Well well well, time to take out your old and dusty stack of UNO cards and play it right this time!
Over in TikTok, there’s a drama involving property agents that’s caused by us. Here’s what happened:
