It’s the day that our Prime Minister gave the National Day Rally. It’s also the day that BuffLord95 drank his first bubble tea.
And most important, it’s the day that The Rock got married.

Marriage in the US
Unlike Singapore whereby most people would be legally married before they do “couple stuff” like buying a house or having a baby, it’s a tad different in the US.
Some couples would live together as boyfriend and girlfriend but still do the couple stuff mentioned above.
And The Rock, whose real name is Dwayne Johnson, is one of them.
The Rock Married Long-Time Girlfriend
Back in 1997, when The Rock is still The Rock, he married Dany Garcia, a woman four years his senior. The now 50-year-old plays key roles behind the scenes in the entertainment industry, and officially divorced The Rock in 2008.
They have an 18-year-old daughter.
The Rock met sing-songwriter Lauren Hashian in 2006 while he was filming The Game Play in Boston, and only dated her in 2007 after he split up with his ex-wife

The couple didn’t just date like BuffLord95 and PrettyGirl99; they did more than dating. In the many years they were together, they had two daughters, and boy do they look lovely together.
In 2015, The Rock said in an interview that he has been living with Hashian for almost eight to nine years. Add four more years to 2019 and they’ve been living together for more than thirteen years!
Hashian is 34 years old this year while the Rock is 47.

Yeah, the beautiful couple finally tied the knot and made it official.
If rocks have tears, every rock in the world would be crying now.
A Family Man & Possibly a Future POTUS?
Despite The Rock’s tough looks and oversized biceps, the beefcake is a family man.
His Instagram, other than promotional images for his films, would comprise images himself with his daughters, though sometimes I wonder if they think they’re sitting on a real rock.

And you’ve heard rumours that he’s running for president, here’s the good news and the bad news: he said in an earlier interview that “it’s not possible in 2020.”
And the good news? He also said, “It’s something that I seriously considered.”
Over in the US, many politicians have joined the presidential race and started campaigning, so unless The Rock can do a miracle, we can’t smell his desire to debate against President Trump.
At least, not in 2020.
