Reader: There’s a bus to Changi Airport?
There is indeed, dear reader. But we’ll get to that later.
To say that Jewel Changi Airport’s public preview opened to moderate fanfare would be a huge understatement. To put it crudely…
It was probably the reason why Thanos felt the need to snap his fingers in the first place.
Indeed, despite it only being the public preview period (exclusive to Singapore residents), the newly opened airport has already seen its fair share of crowds, with snaking queues that threatened to spill over to Jurong.
Well, I gotta say; that’s probably an introvert‘s worst nightmare.
“But wait, if there are so many people there…” my colleague uttered with a horrified expression on his face. “How packed would the return journey be?”
In response, I looked at him.
“May Gawd bless their sardine souls.”
But wait… it seems that you do not need to be a sardine
For apparently, your return journey doesn’t depend solely on the train;
There’re shuttle buses that manoeuvre out of the newly-opened airport as well! Yes, you heard that right. You can take a bus to Changi Airport!
Fetching visitors to Bedok, Sengkang and Tampines MRT station, these free buses are available at Terminal 1 bus bay from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. daily, and arrive at a frequency of between 10 and 30 minutes.
They’ll be stationed at the premises from now till 21 April.
And there’s public transport too
Should you be unaware, there’re actually public buses that take you there as well.
The following public buses will all take you to the airport:
Bus services 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110 and 858.
Once you reach the airport, simply alight at Terminal 1 and follow the signs to Jewel at level 1… and you’ll have reached!
You can now take a bus to Changi Airport. What more do you need in life?
And oh right; no article will be complete without a perk
