There’s a Taxi Tour in S’pore That Brings You To Ulu Places To Catch Pokemon

Have you always wanted to be a Pokemon Master?

Do you absolutely hate to walk long distances, like the space between your sofa and your fridge?

Do you play Pokemon GO before exams because Machamp over Grades?

Well, if you find yourself nodding along to the points above, I’ve great news for you:

SGCab now has a taxi tour that brings Pokemon GO players all around Singapore… to catch em’ all!

Catching Some Deets

Lest you start to worry your pretty little head, SGCab actually operates in a relatively simple fashion:

You can either venture on a solo Pokemon GO tour, or book one for a maximum of 13 people.

Incidentally, there are two types of rides: a 7-seater taxi or a 13-seater minibus. The picture above is that of the latter (13-seater).

For the financial gurus, the tour costs S$40 an hour and must be reserved for a minimum of four hours each time, no matter how many people go. This would mean that the minimum amount one person pays for a 4-hour Pokemon GO tour… would amount to roughly S$12.30 (assuming you’re part of a group of 13 players).

There will also be an S$12 midnight fee applicable for trips from 11:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Pokemon GO: Singapore Version

According to SGCab, the tour will incorporate some faraway places that might net you some wicked new critters for your collection.

The four points below were derived from SGCab’s website.

  • Standpack Ind – “Next to Singapore Highway Strip Pioneer, it is a district that is devoted to industry where we make a pit stop while you explore for Pokémon.”
  • Nirvana Memorial Garden – “A hotspot for Pokémon, it is the first columbarium in the country that was privatized where you can pay respects to the departed.”
  • Sungei Gedong Road – “Here we will have a quick stop near the military camp en route to Lim Chu Kang.”
  • Lim Chu Kang – “You’ll thank us later for bringing you to this new planned area after you catch some really cool mix of water, fire, and earth Pokémon.”

Also, check out these other awesome destinations:

  • Neo Tiew Crescent

Some Tour Guarantees

Before you dismiss this venture as some sort of Pokemon-themed Fake Taxi episode, SGCab guarantees some pretty nifty benefits.

For one, the tour will cover all major Pokemon hotspots in the country.

For another, you can take all the time you want to catch Pokemon. Drivers have been instructed to wait while you attempt to capture 150 Magikarps in a single sitting.

And last but not least, the drivers will also be making stops if someone’s stomach starts grumbling. Pokemon and food?

Though…I’ve got to admit, you might need to share this with your parents or relatives. Chances are the older folks would be going for this trip because let’s face it:

The Instagram and Telegram generation doesn’t give a *Pika* about Pokemon GO.
