Even though the bingsu trend has passed for a while, we just can’t resist a bowl of icy, refreshing bingsu. And when we discovered this shop in Clementi Mall, we knew we had to share it with you.
Bingsu – The Hidden Bingsu Shop in Clementi Mall
When it comes to Bingsu, there are only two criteria that come to mind: how good they taste, and how good they look. And we got to say, this shop has it all.
The ice itself are fluffy and 100% milk-based, not diluted by water. Their bingsu are authentic and premium ingredients are imported from Korea itself. Not a surprise given the owner himself is a Korean.
On-The-Go Concept
The shop itself has limited seats but one unique feature about this shop, in my opinion, is the fact that they favour an eat-on-the-go concept. Their plastic bowls are uniquely designed to be held in one hand, perfect for eating while shopping in the mall.
In addition, you get $2 off when you take away instead of eating there. So different from shops which charge you extra for taking away, right?
Super Cute Bingsu Perfect for Instagram
After visiting this shop, I think I get why our local ice kachang are losing out to Pat Bingsu even though ours is cheaper. It’s because they look great on Instagram.
Look at their Oreo Monster Bingsu, the hottest choice in the shop.
And that’s not all. The shop also creates new bingsu creations from time to time.
Check out their super cute Pokemon Bingsu
When we talk about Pokemon, of course, you can’t miss out Pikachu! And there’s more to this mango-flavoured Pikachu than what you see.
With watermelon cheeks and potato chip ears, dig into the bingsu and you’ll find delicious mangoes and other secret stuff hidden deep within.
Now here’s my favourite pick for cutest bingsu in the shop: Strawberry Jigglypuff Bingsu. Dig into the ice and you’ll find cake hidden within. Yum!
Christmas Edition Bingsu
Since they’re technically the ice experts in Clementi Mall, there’s no way they won’t get into the Christmas mood. Check out their Christmas edition bingsu.
Snowman Bingsu with longan, watermelon, blueberry and more!
Rudolph Bingsu, a spinoff their super popular Oreo Monster bingsu.
Christmas Tree Bingsu decorated with grapes and melon!
Remember to check this hidden Bingsu shop out if you happen to be in the west!
