Honestly when I watched the video I was pretty disgusted. I mean, it is kind of gross to see something like that. Of course, there are people who like watching videos of extractions, and pimples being popped, or getting rid of cysts and stuff like that. To each his own.
But I’ve never really seen blackheads extraction like this before. Usually what we know is that they come out in clumps of fluids, not worm-like.
I go for a facial twice a month to clear my blackheads and moisturize my skin. So basically, before they extract your blackheads, they will clean your face, then use a facial steamer. The facial steamer is used to soften your blackheads and dead skin cells. After steaming for about 10 minutes, you then proceed on to remove the blackheads. If you go for a facial session, your beautician does it for you so that your face does not scar.
Basically blackheads are dead skin cells and oil build up that clogs your skin. Not removing them will mean more breakouts and dirtier faces. It’s very important that you keep your face clean, especially if you have severe acne.
Blackheads would look like this:
Or this:
Or even this if you really don’t take good care of your skin:
However in the video below, the blackheads appear like this:
Worm-like, yellowish and lots and lots of fluid. It’s pretty gross in my opinion. I wonder if that’s how my blackheads appear when I go for my facial. Well I sure hope not.
Watch the video for yourself. It’s a warning though, if you are uncomfortable with these kind of things, don’t watch it. You’ll get nightmares of worms crawling out from your nose or whatever else. Not kidding.
