Are you someone who brushes your teeth in front of the mirror daily? Do you think that is the key in giving you your perfect smile of the day? If you think that is the right way, think again.
Many of us made the same mistake over and over again, and yes, that is to brush your teeth in front of the mirror. While it seems logical to do so, brushing your teeth in front of the mirror is actually more time costly. Don’t believe? Here’s why.

Firstly and most importantly,  you’ll be distracted by your face. Instead of focusing on your pearly white teeth to check if there are any food waste stuck in between your tooth, you’ll be busy checking your brows. Thinking if you’ll need to go down to the shop to thread it again. And for the guys, you’ll start to focus on your facial hair, wondering if it is the time to shave it again. And before you know it, you notice a pimple on your forehead.
You started panicking and thinking of remedies to hide that pimple. Oh boy, a short 5 minutes brushing time has just being lengthened into 10 minutes. And before you know it, you’ll have to dash out of the house to board the bus if not you’re going to be late again.
And yes, that’s basically the story of most people who always finds themselves late for work or appointments. Brushing your teeth in front of the mirror can expose you to many distractions. While the story may be slightly exaggerated, you’ll never know how precious those few minutes can be.
By saving those few minutes, it can probably means that you get to lie in your bed for an extra minute or two. It can probably give you sufficient time to wait for your water to boil or to microwave your food. So whatever it is, remember to not brush your teeth in front of the mirror anymore.
