Morgan Freeman is the ultimate badass and good guy rolled into one. Heโs appeared in almost every other top movie from Hollywood. The only other guy thatโs closing in on him is probably Samuel L Jackson.
But yes, nothing beats the classy way Freeman delivers his dialogues. Especially when you think of the movies heโs acted in.

Heโs played God. Yes, in Bruce Almighty. Youโve also seen him in Christopher Nolanโs Batman trilogy as the genius inventor, Lucius Fox.
Itโs now time to listen to him in an all new feature.
Freeman is now taking over GPS navigations.
Whoa, did you just take a step back? So did I when I heard the news.
On Monday, Waze (owned by Google by the way!), made an announcement that it would be including Freeman into its voice option.
Morgan Freemanโs also been one of the most sought after voices based on requests by Wazers for celebrity voiceovers.
Imagine being told by Freeman himself to turn right, left or make U-turns. Now thatโs something special. This is definitely much better than the usual settings youโve currently got on Waze.
Thereโs a slight catch though. The voiceover is a tie-in between Waze and Freemanโs latest movie, London Has Fallen.

Freemanโs dulcet voice will be made based on the role he played in the movie itself. The movie hit the cinemas recently with Freeman playing the role of Vice President Allan Trumbull.
Under Waze, youโd actually be talked to by Freeman as if you were the POTUS himself. Iโd feel like I was royalty if I had him on my GPS system, and called me Mr President.
In order to change the settings on your Waze app to activate Freemanโs voice, youโd have to head over to Settings, followed by Sound, Voice Language and finally select Morgan Freeman.
Other famous voices that have come up in GPS systems include Liam Neeson (Taken 3), Snopp Dogg, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bugs Bunny and even Darth Vader himself. Yes, may the force be with you as you ride and find your destination.
At this point of time, Freemanโs London Has Fallen option is exlusively available in the U.S. We can only hope that the Oscar-winning actorโs voiceover option is extended into Asia and eventually, Singapore.

Right now, Iโd lay back and enjoy listen to his voice in The Shawshank Redemption while I dream of the day I have him telling me how to get to Sentosa Island.
