The Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre, which has operated along Cavenagh Road since 1985, is getting a luxury makeover.
The hotel behind Cuppage Plaza is currently undergoing renovation and is scheduled to reopen in the first quarter of 2027 as The Hari Singapore, a five-star boutique hotel.
It will be the first hotel in Singapore under The Hari brand and only its third worldwide, after properties in London and Hong Kong.

New Hotel Will Have 326 Rooms and a Rooftop Pool
The existing Holiday Inn has 324 rooms. Following the redevelopment, The Hari Singapore is expected to offer 326 rooms.
Planned facilities include a rooftop swimming pool, an executive lounge, dining venues and wellness facilities. The hotel will also feature a rotating collection of artwork, a feature found at other Hari properties.
British designer Tara Bernerd, who designed The Hari hotels in London and Hong Kong, will oversee the Singapore property’s interiors.
The Hari London opened in August 2016, followed by The Hari Hong Kong in December 2020.
It Will Remain Part of the IHG Network
The Hari Singapore will operate under Vignette Collection, IHG Hotels & Resorts’ group of independently branded luxury and lifestyle hotels.
This means that although the Holiday Inn name will disappear from the building, the property will remain within the wider IHG network.
The Singapore hotel is part of an agreement bringing all three Hari properties into Vignette Collection. The deal expands an existing partnership between IHG and the Hong Kong-based Harilela Group, which owns The Hari brand and the Cavenagh Road property.
When it opens, The Hari Singapore will also become Vignette Collection’s first property in Singapore.
