While video game consoles have taken the gaming world by storm, there’s nothing quite like going to the arcade.
Whether it’s to play old-school racing games, try your hand at basketball, or annoy your friends with your amazing air hockey skills, one can spend an entire day at the arcade without getting bored, and still have a host of games waiting to be played.

Well, if you’re a fan of arcades, you’d be happy to know that a big one is opening soon in the west.
Timezone Opening Biggest Outlet in Westgate in Dec 2020
Clear your schedules, eat several bananas, and prepare your wallets, because Timezone is opening its biggest outlet next month!
The beloved arcade chain announced it will be opening a brand new outlet at Westgate shopping mall on 4 Dec 2020.
With the kids free from school, the holidays will present the perfect opportunity for families to visit the brand new arcade for hours and hours of fun!
So, what games will be on offer?
More Than 200 Arcade Games
According to MS News, Westgate’s Timezone will be the largest in Singapore, with an area size of 18,000 sq ft (roughly 3 basketball courts).
With so much space, you can bet your 23 boxes of face masks that it will have all sorts of games to cater to your every desire.
In fact, Timezone Westgate will have more than 200 games and attractions for patrons, including ones from Sega and Nintendo.

Arcade Spread Into Three Zones
This Timezone will be spread into three zones – carnival, music, and racing.
In the carnival zone, patrons can play classic carnival games like Roll-a-ball.
If you want a little more zip in your life, head on to the racing zone where you can play high-speed racing games including Midnight Maximum Tune.
The zone which may draw the most spectators, however, is the music zone, which features the cult favourite, Dance Dance Revolution, the only game which somehow allows players to have fun while exposing their inadequacies as a dancer while dancing to the song “Butterfly”.
The music zone also features other beloved games like Pump It Up, Dance Rush Stardom, and Mai Mai DX.

8-Lane Bowling Alley
But perhaps the draw of Timezone’s newest outlet is the inclusion of an 8-lane bowling alley, four of which are for mini bowling.
Even though the other four lanes feature standard lanes and bowling balls, you won’t have to don clown shoes to play.
Timezone Westgate will also have the biggest prize shop of any outlet, and two party rooms for events and birthdays for booking as well, once gatherings of that nature are allowed again.
So, will you be heading down to Westgate on 4 Dec?
