This month is an amazing month for us Singaporeans.
Just a week ago, you heard about an ACS parent suing the principal for enforcing the school rules. The judge told the parent to enrol his son in another school if he’s not happy with the school rules. Burn!
Then now, we have this.
The Toa Payoh couple who were caught on video bullying an old man over a table in a hawker centre has been charged in court.
A Flashback In Case You Forgot About The Case:
On April 21 at Toa Payoh Lorong 8, husband and wife, 45-year-old Chow Chuin Yee and 38-year-old Tay Puay Leng, were caught on video bullying an old man for seats.
The old man approached Tay to ask if he could share the table but she reacted aggressively, scolding him using vulgarities.
She called her husband, Chow, over to the table who knocked into the old man from behind.
A kind-hearted customer approached to diffuse the situation and managed to get the old man to move to another table.
The Singapore police force arrested the couple on 25 April 2017.
