A tourist complained that her daughter was playing in a swimming pool at a club in Sentosa when her toe was cut, causing non-stop bleeding. She was rushed to the hospital for stitches that day, but the club manager allegedly responded dismissively.
The club stated they provided assistance immediately and fully complied with the visitor’s requests and claims.

According to the tourist, who goes by the username Emillie on RedNote, the incident happened at Ola Beach Club on Siloso Beach Walk in Sentosa on 4 May 2025, afternoon.
She wrote that it was hot that day, so the family chose to dine at a nearby club and she took her daughter to play in the swimming pool.
While in the water, her daughter suddenly said her foot hurt. When Emillie lifted her daughter’s foot to check, she was shocked to find that her daughter’s toe was bleeding non-stop.
Emillie immediately got out of the pool and called for restaurant staff to help stop the bleeding. She claimed that only one server and a chef helped tend to her daughter’s injury, while the restaurant manager didn’t come forward to ask questions or offer help.
She said the restaurant arranged for medical personnel to help bandage and stop the bleeding. The medical staff said the child’s wound was quite deep and she should seek medical attention quickly, which resulted in the child needing stitches at the hospital.
When she asked the manager to take responsibility for the incident, Emillie claims the manager said no guarantees could be made without first reporting to higher management, and instead gave her a business card to contact via email.
Management Response: Customer Safety Is Critical
The management of Ola Beach Club confirmed the incident when contacted and expressed regret about the customer’s injury.
A spokesperson said the staff immediately provided assistance when the incident occurred and maintained contact with the affected party via email afterwards.
