Toy Story 4 Carnival Happening At Gardens By The Bay With Obstacle Course & Self-Driving Cars

On 24 March, my entire world ended.

The Prudential Marina Bay Carnivalthe best thing since Geezus Prist’s sliced bread brand Prucifik, cruelly concluded its yearly run, leaving its faithful audience (including me) desperately pining for the next rendition.

“Oh man…” I sobbed into a handkerchief as I clutched my heartfelt portrait of the carnival. Will I ever have fun again?”

“Hey quit crying into my handkerchief already,” grumbled J as he forcibly retrieved his now wet fabric. “And get a life.”

“But I’m sad.” I moped, now using the office dog as a napkin.

“**** what’re you doing?! It’ll get rabies!” J yelled as he pushed me aside. “You know what; go look online for that Toy Story 4 Carnival that’s happening soon at Gardens By The Bay and leave the poor dog alone, you disgusting piece of shit…”

Thereafter, J continued to berate me, but I could no longer process his words. What mattered to me, in all honesty, turned out to be just four words:

“Disgusting piece of shit”

…and…

“Toy Story 4 Carnival.”

Toy Story 4 Carnival

Fans will be delighted to know that Toy Story 4, the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2010 Toy Story 3, will be released in theatres this 21 June 2019.

However, there’s still a good two months left till the film’s theatrical release, and as any movie buff will tell you… that’s really long.

Thankfully, however, something rather big in stature will be filling in for the movie’s pre-release absence… something rather carnival-like.

Like this.

Taking place from 15 to 30 June, the Toy Story 4 themed carnival is a collaboration between Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia (Disney) and will see Supertree Grove transformed into a carnival of games and activities.

The event’s presented by GBTB and is held in celebration of Children’s Festival.

Games and activities

According to Mothership, the activities are inspired by the Toy Story gang, and allows children to learn about “friendship and teamwork”.

Take, for example, Star Adventurer, a set-up that lets young visitors race in self-driving cars to recharge Buzz Lightyear.

There will also be an obstacle course called Bo Peep’s Adventure, a system that tests one’s speed, agility and endurance.

Carnival gaming booths featuring Woodie and Jessie will also be present.

Marble Track Run

We’re all suckers for entertainment-related shows, and for Toy Story 4‘s epic escapade, the Marble Track Run is surely one of interest.

Happening twice every hour, the show will feature a 1.5m-wide marble travelling along a 150m-track, all the while weaving around two Supertrees.

Tunes from previous Toy Story films will also accompany the show.

And so… what’re you waiting for?

Considering all the fun attractions mentioned above, I gotta say; this is one carnival you gotta go!

Editor: Wait, I think you’re missing out something.

Did I- Oh wait, I did.

Apparently, a light and music show (inspired by Toy Story 4) will play at the end of each day, and visitors can take home some exclusive merchandise from the festival too.

Now is that cool or what?

So mark down the details while you’re at it…
