Covid-19 might have kept most Singaporeans home but some troublemakers still remain outside.

Like this dude who caused a Traffic Police to skid and hit the HDB wall.

TP Bike Allegedly Skidded & Hit HDB Wall While Chasing An Errant Rider

According to a Facebook post by SG Road Vigilante, the incident happened at Blk 619 Ang Mo Kio on 27 May.

A TP officer was allegedly chasing after an errant rider through the void deck when he skidded and hit one of the walls.

From the picture, it seems like the floor was wet. Thankfully, it seems like the TP officer stood up just fine.

Netizens’ Comments

It’s been a long time since we did this but hey:

  • TP involved in an accident
  • bike chase through the void deck

You just know that the comments section is going to be a gold mine.

And it is.

Some pointed out that he shouldn’t have been chasing through the void deck

While others think the TP should go back to training school:

On another post about the same incident by Roads.sg, people were horrified at what the TP did:

On the flip side, there are netizens who are appreciative of the traffic police officer for trying to carry out his duties:

As for whether he should’ve chased or not, we wouldn’t know.

After all, we aren’t TP officers ourselves.

Let’s just trust in the SPF to do what’s right and handle the situation appropriately, yeah?

Be Careful Of What You Write Online

What we do know, though, is to be careful about what you write online.

Because while you’re saying stuff online, sometimes, the consequences happen in the real world.

Just look at what happened after a Japanese female wrestler and TV personality was cyberbullied.

A young, promising life was snuffed out after just 22 years of existence.
