Road Traffic Situation In S’pore
In the first half of 2020, the Traffic Police announced that Singapore’s road traffic situation has improved.
There was a drop in injuries and fatalities from traffic accidents:
- 33.3% drop in accidents resulting in injuries
- 37.3% drop in injured people from traffic accidents
- 18.6% drop in accidents resulting in fatalities
- 15.3% drop in fatalities from traffic accidents
The drop is mainly attributed to the Circuit Breaker from 7 Apr to 1 June where there are lesser vehicles on the roads.
Now that vehicles are now returning to the roads, stay safe while riding or driving on the roads of Singapore because you’ll never know if you’ll meet with aspiring F1 racers on the expressways.
