Rumors of their relationship surfaced earlier today, with media reports alleging that Chaeyoung and Zion.T have been dating for about 6 months.

The two met after being introduced to each other by an acquaintance and enjoy dates in the Gangbuk-gu area.

Eventually, a representative of JYP Entertainment, Chaeyoung’s agency, issued a statement confirming their relationship status.

The representative said, “TWICE’s Chaeyoung is currently seeing Zion.T with good feelings.”

Meanwhile, a representative of Zion.T’s The Black Label issued a similar statement.

About the Couple

Chaeyoung joined JYP Entertainment in 2012 after passing auditions and later became a contestant on the survival show SIXTEEN in 2015.

She was selected as one of the nine members to debut in TWICE.

As the main rapper of TWICE, she has writing credits for several of the group’s songs, including the rap verse for their cover of “Precious Love”.

She has also composed music, such as for the track “How U Doin'” on TWICE’s second Japanese album.

Outside of music, Chaeyoung is known for her artistic talents – she designed the limited edition cover for TWICE’s “Page Two” album and three pairs of SPRIS shoes. She has also released solo covers as part of TWICE’s Melody Project series.

Last year, Chaeyoung faced controversy for wearing T-shirts with imagery related to the QAnon conspiracy theory and Nazi symbolism. She apologized, stating she did not fully understand the significance of the imagery.

Zion.T debuted one year earlier than Chaeyoung, back in 2011, by collaborating with other Korean hip hop artists.

His first single “Click Me,” featuring Dok2, was released in April 2011. Zion.T has explained that he chose his stage name because he is a Christian and the “T” in his name represents the cross.
