The 44-year-old victim had four prior criminal convictions, including one murder case, Sin Chew Daily reported. The 42-year-old victim also carried a criminal record linked to gang activities.

Sources suggest both men were prominent members of the Fuzhou gang from Sibu. Their extensive criminal histories indicate the attack may be connected to ongoing underworld conflicts.
