Otters are endearing little creatures who have the ability to melt even the coldest of hearts.

And here’s a fun fact: Otters apparently store rocks and food in the loose skin under their armpits, according to JoJo Maman Bebe.

You can now get uber-realistic otter pencil cases from a Japanese store called Felissimo.

These pencil cases which cost ¥2,700 (S$32.83) each come in 2 variations – one in deep sleep, and the other looking very much awake.

The sleeping and awake Otter product have the following dimensions: length 44cm, width 19cm, and height 10cm, as well as length 40cm, width 15cm and height 13cm respectively.

Look at the close up of the products. It’s like Huawei P30 50x zoom, so sharp even when you zoom in up close and dirty.

The items are made with polyurethane blend fabric akin to an otter’s fur and are completed with whiskers and toes.
