The Ultimate Cafe-Hopping Guide to Seletar Aerospace Because You’re Sick of Kopi Siew Dai

With all the quaint little cafes popping up over Singapore, you might be spoiled for choice. Here’s our little guide to help you with your decision making over at the latest hipster area that everyone has been talking about: Seletar Aerospace!

1. Young’s Bar and Restaurant

In the silence of the deserted area, you’ll never find a more peaceful place to have some modern Europian cuisine. Mashed potatoes and snapper and clams are some tasty dishes that they offer, and they even have the less commonly seen bacon and eggs pizza. Though a bit pricey, you can also enjoy some of their tender steak!

2. Wheeler’s Estate

If you spot a glinting silver camper van, you know you’re in the right place. Be transported into the casual scenery of the country side as you troll through Wheeler’s Estate. Their food is definitely pricier than most other cafes, but their portions for a single main can be enough for two to share! Some specials include Wagyu Teres Major, where the chewy beef will make your mouth water, or the Peruvian BBQ style.

3. Wildseed Cafe

Take a deep breath in this garden themed cafe and you’ll pick up on the freshness right away. Wherever you turn, there’ll be a potted plant or a vine crawling up the pole straight away. Even better, this isn’t just an Instagram-worthy place: their desserts are extremely delectable, be it their tarts, alcoholic drinks, or cheesecake.

The farm-to-table concept they focus on also means that their food is made from the edible garden they have on side (how fresh can it still be?!), where every part of the produce is used as much as possible; a truly unique concept.

4. Wildseed Bar

Once you’ve tried Wildseed Cafe, you could go for the evening version of it. With a largely similar concept, Wildseed Bar opens at 4pm so people can get started on their nightly activities. You can peek in to check out what the chefs are cooking and how they prepare your meal, or gaze on in wonder as the shake up your cocktail.

5. Soek Seng Bicycle Cafe

Perhaps a little further from the above cafes, this bicycle-themed cafe has a beautiful setting and delicious dishes. Bicycles are used as decoration, painted bicycle seats hooked on the walls as well, and they even have a pit stop for passing cyclist to hydrate and buff up their bike. Their western and Japanese food alike are worth a try and the aesthetic of the location is surely insta-worthy.
