Under Armour Releases a Face Mask That’s Very Breathable & Won’t Fog Up Your Glasses

Renowned sports brand Under Armour will be dropping their own version of a face mask in stores today (24 July 2020).

Called the SportsMask, the reusable face mask is touted to be water-resistant and designed for maximum breathability.

It also features a moldable nose-bridge that helps secure it in place, preventing your glasses from fogging up 24/7 (though we can’t be 101% sure of that).

Each mask is set to retail at S$35.

Three-layered Model

Apparently, the mask is made of a special three-layered model:

Layer 1, called Spacer Fabric, is “light with air pockets for structure”, which helps to create better airflow by enabling the mask to stay off the mouth and nose.

Layer 2, called the Open-Cell Foam, is a breathable layer that assists in letting air through. However, this also makes it hard for moisture and sweat to pass.

Layer 3, called the UA ISO-CHILL, is made of fabric that feels cool against the skin, and is treated with “PROTX2™, a non-metal anti-microbial technology which inhibits the growth of bacteria on the mask”.

The mask also comes in five sizes: SM, MD, LG, XL and 2XL.

You can check for your mask size by measuring the length from your nose bridge to the mid-section of your inner ear.

Which will ensure that you do not inadvertently get the wrong fitting.

Because let’s face it; just like shirts and pants…

A baggy or overly tight mask isn’t going to look good on anyone.
