Underage Boy Didn’t Know Man Was Livestreaming & Asked Man to Buy Cigarettes for Him

Unlike films that are recorded as many times as you need, with editing to cut out moments you don’t want, live shows are different.

During live shows, even Facebook live-streams, every moment, whether it be good, bad, funny or embarrassing, it’ll make its way to the hundreds or thousands of viewers watching it at that point in time.

Then, it gets immortalised on the internet.

One young boy in Singapore found this out the hard way.

Underage Smoking

Singapore takes the smoking age very seriously,

Businesses who are caught selling cigarettes to underage smokers could get their license taken away, which is very bad for business.

This is why most businesses ask for an identification card while selling cigarettes to individuals who look too young.

As of 2020, the legal age for smoking is 20 years old.

One way underage smokers circumvent the system is to ask someone of legal age to help them purchase cigarettes.

Unfortunately, one such underage smoker who decided to go down this route picked a man who was doing a Facebook live-stream.

Underage Boy Didn’t Know Man Was Livestreaming & Asked Man to Buy Cigarettes for Him

A vlogger who puts up videos under the moniker, Bob Senget Global Enterprise, was approached by a young boy who doesn’t look like he’s 20 years old.

After confirming a few times that the boy had wanted him to buy cigarettes on his behalf, the vlogger laughed in disbelief and pointed the camera at the boy.

Upon seeing that he was now on a Facebook live-stream, the boy (who was, thankfully, masked) immediately walked away.

Turning the camera back to him, the vlogger continued expressing his disbelief at what just occurred to him.

Here’s a transcript of their conversation:

Bob Senget: Ha?

Boy, still speaking off-camera: Rokok.

Bob Senget: What thing?

Boy, still speaking off-camera: Ah, rokok. Buy cigarette.

Bob Senget: Buy cigarette? *Points camera at boy, boy walks away immediately*

Bob Senget: Guys, this boy asks me buy cigarette, crazy man, this boy. *laughs*

Crazy man, underaged ask me buy.

*Calls after the boy* Call the police, call the police.

Moral of the story? Don’t start smoking if you can’t buy them.
