Uniqlo has collaborated with them all.
But if you thought Uniqlo to boast quite the impressive list of collaborations there, wait till you see the next one. For it seems that Uniqlo has partnered with yet another fan favourite:
Sailor Moon.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen…
Uniqlo x Sailor Moon is officially a thing now.
Uniqlo Coming Out with New Collaboration, This Time With Sailor Moon
According to SoraNews24, Uniqlo, fresh from its latest lineup of Pokemon T-shirts, has partnered up with another one of history’s biggest anime franchises:
Sailor Moon.
Apparently, the new T-shirt lineup’s part of the celebration for the announcement that creator Naoko Takeuchi’s original Sailor Moon manga will soon be available for the first time, in wholesome digital format.
The shirts will be available for purchase in 26 countries, and although the exact territories have yet to be specified, the U.S. seems to be a given.
And of course, Singapore too, for all my local peeps.
While Sailor Moon herself will be taking centrepiece on each of the shirts…
The supporting cast will also be playing feature roles, such as this romantic portrayal of Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion, that supposedly happens during the golden age of the Moon Kingdom.
But for the less ‘flashy’ individuals, there are more minimalistic visual designs as well.
Also, there will be a mix of English and Japanese text versions as well.
In Japan, each of the shirts will be priced at 1,500 yen (US$14), the standard price point for Uniqlo’s designer T-shirt range.
The company’s promising a release sometime in late August.

Sailor Moon
A Japanese shoujo manga series written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi, Sailor Moon was originally serialised in Nakayoshi from 1991 to 1997, and the 60 individual chapters were published in 18 tankōbon volumes.
The series follows the adventures of a schoolgirl named Usagi Tsukino as she transforms into Sailor Moon to search for a magical artifact, the “Legendary Silver Crystal”.
Leading a diverse group of cast members, Usagi and the Sailor Soldiers wage battle against villains to prevent the theft of the Silver Crystal, and halt the destruction of the solar system.
The manga has also spawned an anime series that ran from 1992 to 1997, as well as three animated feature films, a television special, three short films and a live-action television adaptation. A second anime series, Sailor Moon Crystal, began simulcasting in 2014.
The manga has sold over 35 million copies worldwide, and the franchise has generated a whopping $13 billion in worldwide merchandise sales.
Two Sailor Moon anime movies are set to premiere in theatres next year, 2020.
