By now, we all know that Christmas is approaching us really quickly. You’ve probably already heard many Christmas songs over the radio and over the sound system in the malls that you go to as you shop for gifts.
But hey, if you’re still looking for a unique Christmas present to get, don’t worry, I’ve got your back.
Uniqlo Singapore has just collaborated with local artist SemiSerious to design eight new stickers depicting a very Singaporean Christmas.

These stickers can then be used to decorate a plain T-shirt, allowing you to have a highly customised gift.
There are also other stickers you can opt for like Tsum Tsum, Mickey Mouse and more if you prefer something else.
A Very Singaporean Christmas
If you don’t already know, Guay Chong Kian, also known as SemiSerious, is a Singaporean artist who specialises in his one-panel comics about Singapore. His comics often depict the issues faced or the trending topics in Singapore with a less serious note.
This time, his collaboration with Uniqlo Singapore features his take on a Singaporean Christmas and the irony of celebrating the season in a tropical country.
Here are the eight stickers that he has designed:
“Welcome to Singapore, Santa!” – input cashcard into your IU reader, please.
“Merry Christmas, Smart Nation!” – experience the Winter season with our super advanced air conditioners. This is quite sad. But hey, at least the weather has been pretty good these days!

“Season’s Greetings!” with some durians – our national fruit?
“I thought they wanted someone good at rapping!”
“It’s too hot to dress up!” – cover your eyes, kids.
“Sorry Santa, that’s not a chimney.” – the only way Santa can get to our house is through our rubbish chutes. (My personal favourite.)
“Drive carefully during the season of giving.”Â

“Who says we can’t have a White Christmas?” – be careful when you walk past trees!
The stickers, as you can see, are all in black and white, but some stickers do have a hint of red to contrast against the dull background so that people will know that you’re still in a festive spirit.
Where Can I Get These?
Before you think that you can head down to any Uniqlo outlet near you, do note that this customisation service will only be available at Uniqlo’s Orchard Central Global Flagship Store.
Simply head up the escalator to the third floor and you should be able to spot the UTme! booth with staff around. They will then guide you on your customisation.
The customised T-shirts will cost $29.90 each and are available from sizes XS to XL.
