Man Caught Relieving Himself While Seated on Flight

The footage, which was recorded by another passenger, shows the man looking around while urinating on the floor of the aircraft while still seat-belted in his middle seat.

According to View From The Wing, the aircraft seems to be a Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 based on certain markings visible in the video.

In the viral clip, the man can be seen directing his stream toward the safety card area of the plane. Both seats adjacent to him appear unoccupied at the time of the incident.

Social media reactions have been swift, with one user commenting: “This passenger needs to be banned from ALL flights.”

Another suggested: “Wear adult nappies if you are incontinent!”

Previous Incidents of In-Flight Urination Cases

This is far from the first e’pee’sode of passengers urinating inappropriately during flights.

In one notable incident, a passenger on an American Airlines flight consumed nine Jack and Cokes before exposing himself and urinating in the aisle.

This behavior forced the American Eagle flight 3921, traveling from Chicago to Manchester, New Hampshire, to make an emergency landing in Buffalo, New York.

The man, identified as Neil McCarthy, admitted to police that he had consumed several alcoholic drinks before boarding in Portland, Oregon, and had more during his Chicago layover.

He was subsequently charged with indecent exposure.

In 2022, an Indian passenger named Shankar Mishra allegedly urinated on a 72-year-old woman during an Air India flight from New York to Delhi.

Both were traveling in business class. The woman described it as the most “traumatic” flight of her life and requested a seat change, but was told nothing was available except a small crew seat.

Mishra was later arrested and fired from his position at US banking firm Wells Fargo.

Dating back to 2016, another passenger urinated on the floor of an American Airlines flight.

When confronted by flight attendants after being seen pulling up his pants, the man was informed about the availability of lavatories.

He was later discovered lying on the lavatory floor and claimed he wasn’t intoxicated.

These recurring incidents highlight significant challenges for airlines in managing passenger behavior and maintaining sanitary conditions on flights.
