Even if you’ve outgrown trick-or-treating, you can still celebrate Halloween.
Halloween Horror Nights is back soon, for its eleventh edition.
This time, it features a haunted house inspired by the hit series All of Us Are Dead. If you have a friend who insists they’ll do fine in a zombie apocalypse, maybe it’s time to take them there and put that to the test.
Test Your Mettle In Hyosan High School
Netflix’s hit horror series, All of us Are Dead, will soon come to life (not literally, thankfully) at Universals Studios Singapore.
If you’ve always wanted to know what a zombie apocalypse feels like, the haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights is a good way to find out without having to develop a biological weapon.
This is the eleventh edition of Halloween Horror Nights, and the haunted house is designed in collaboration with Netflix.
The haunted house will be the first attraction made based on a Korean series.
It’ll be set in Hyosan High School, and fans will try to survive the Zombie outbreak. Iconic scenes from the series will also be recreated, including a classroom fight and the library escape.
In a press release, Markham Gannon, Director of Resort Experience at ResortsWorld Sentosa, said that the haunted house marks the first attraction in the world based on the hit series.
“We are thrilled to create this one-of-a-kind horror experience for our guests based on a show beloved by global fans and take them on a journey of both physical and psychological thrill,” he added.
The event will be held on 18 nights between 29 September and 4 November.
Early bird tickets go on sale here on 17 July, so mark your calendars if you’re desperate to go.
Second Collaboration With Netflix
The haunted house based on All of Us Are Dead marks the second collaboration between Universals Studios Singapore and Netflix.
Their first collaboration saw the series Stranger Things come to life in the eighth edition of Halloween Horror Nights in 2018.
That time, the Stranger Things haunted house received rave reviews for its faithfulness to the original series and startling stunts performed by scare actors, in line with scenes from the show.
They even recreated the iconic showdown between the character eleven and a Demogorgon set in Hawkins Middle School, much to the glee of die-hard fans.
It was one of the most popular houses that time, so you should probably anticipate long queues for the All of Us Are Dead haunted house this time.
What’s The Series About?
If you’ve never heard of the show, All of Us Are Dead is a Korean zombie-apocalypse horror series on Netflix.
It quickly shot to fame after its release, and has been renewed for a second season.
The series was based on a webcomic on the online platform Naver, and set in a high school where teenagers try to survive after a virus turning people into zombies breaks out in the science labs.
Classic zombie story, really.
