Perfect for when you’re sick in the middle of the night but don’t feel like paying the hefty consultation fee at a 24/7 clinic.

Also perfect for people who wake up late in the morning and need an excuse to skip work — I mean, people who are sick.

How to Use the Dr Kart Vending Machine

So, how exactly do you use this machine? Well, there’s only a few steps that you need to follow.

First, when you reach the machine, you’ll have to register with your NRIC or SingPass. After doing so, all you have to do is to pick up the phone by the side of the machine, and speak with the doctor on the other end of the line for a consultation.

So, the usual lah — listing your symptoms and all. But don’t start ranting to the doctor about your life lah, hor?

Once you’re done with the teleconsultation, you can make payment via credit or debit cards, mobile payment apps or NETS cards accepted by the machine.

Next, you can collect your medication instantly from the vending machine liao.

From photos uploaded on Google Maps, it appears that the medication labels will also state the medication name, dosage instructions, as well as the medication’s expiry date.

According to an Instagram post made by Dr Kart, from registration to collecting medicine, the whole process should take only between eight to 16 minutes.
