I’m not going to say it, but this violent altercation happened where we all can guess it happened. It’s Northpoint, which is situated in our favourite heartland, Yishun.
The dispute involved 2 small children, a maid, and the aforementioned old lady.
On April 27, 5.30pm, 2 kids were playing with each other at the Kiddy Palace outlet, until one of the children snatched a toy from the other. The maid, who was watching over the kid, pulled him to one side and told him off for doing that.
She even told the kid to apologize for snatching the toy. The old lady, who had been watching the other kid, carried him away.
However, she continued to stare at the maid and the other child.
The mother of the child, who was also the employer of the maid, then approached the old lady to ask if anything was wrong, and also to apologize, but the old lady simply ignored her and kicked the maid.
She then kept reaching for the child, and the maid and to shield him with his mother. Take a look at the clip the mother recorded.
For the life of me I couldn’t understand what the old lady was yelling about in the video. Maybe some of you can help me, and post it in the comments?
Anyway, as you can see, the old lady kept going for them, ignoring the agitated protests by the mother, another man nearby, and later the shopkeeper. They kept telling her it’s against the law to hit anyone, but the old lady never once even acknowledged that.
At the end, the maid was quite bruised by the encounter.
