Here’s a quick question. Should you break the law to do your job especially if you’re an enforcement officer?
Well, an LTA officer was caught on camera breaking a few traffic rules while on duty on 23 Oct 2016, Sunday, which had the internet all up in arms.
Beat red light and made illegal u-turn
A video of a Land Transport Authority (LTA) officer beating a red light and making an illegal u-turn was caught and uploaded to citizen journalism site STOMP.
According to Stomper Teva who uploaded the video, the LTA officer was in a rush to issue summon to a taxi which was parked illegally near the McDonald’s outlet near Bukit Gombak.
While some commended him for taking his job seriously, a huge majority of netizens were incredibly annoyed with his actions.
Okay, more than annoyed. Just look at their comments
And of course, they have no faith in the authority too.
And some were wondering how it feels like to be ‘king of the road’.
What do you think? Take a look at the video and decide for yourself.
