Coney Island seems to be one of the places to go to recently. After having been featured in the media, many sports enthusiasts, nature enthusiasts, and of course, Instagram obsessed youths have been flocking there.
Punggol Ranch
Punggol Ranch is nearby the seaside, which makes it ideal for the seaside OOTD or Instagram shot. Also, you can try riding on horses and ponies, or even take photos with them to make you Instagram post a bit more lively and active!
Capitol Theatre
With its neon pink and neon green sign and beautiful cursive lettering, the Capitol Theatre sign stands out at night. This makes it ideal to take an artsy-fartsy shot – perfect for silhouette photos on Instagram.
Pasarbella Grandstand
Parsarbella at the Grandstand boasts of global cuisine, Singapore’s freshest produce, wines, craft beers and groceries. The interior of Pasarbella is designed to give a very chill vibe, something that departs from the usual café or restaurants in Singapore.
Singapore Sports Hub
Singapore Sports Hub and its exterior is a beautiful place – it has a stadium with a retractable roof, therefore, a photo of it will look stunning on your Instagram page. Furthermore, check out the outside of the sports hub – there’s Kallang River right there, and of course it’ll be ideal for OOTDs.
Botanic Gardens
Full of lush greenery and beautiful flowers, how can we miss out on our very own famous garden? Botanic Gardens is home to a variety of plant species and is perfect for a picnic date. Pro tip: Why not flat lay your picnic food (assuming there is a lot of food) on a picnic mat on the grass? With the right filter, ’ll be great for your feed!
National Gallery
National Gallery and its interesting architecture are perfect for Instagram photos. Because of its glass ceilings and the metal structures holding it up in place, the shadows cast into the museum is absolutely stunning and Instagram worthy.
Gillman Barracks
A relatively quiet place, art aficionados can take photos of funky art pieces. In Gillman Barracks lies many temporary art galleries, and some modern art pieces are fantastic, superb for the modern hipster.
Carpark at Ikea Tampines
IKEA. Who doesn’t love the Swedish furniture company? Well in Ikea, the rooftop carpark, with its IKEA blue container looking background lies a potential to make your Instagram picture special. From what I’ve seen in my Instagram feeds, photographers to go there to shoot pictures for girls!
National Museum of Singapore
National Museum of Singapore has an old Victorian style architecture. Its white old walls are great for you especially for OOTD shots because then, the focus would be on YOU!
