Yesterday, the Thai palace just released super rare photos of the king’s new royal consort, a former army nurse. This includes candid photos of her aiming a weapon on a firing range, piloting a plane and preparing to parachute.

And it seems that plenty of people wants to take a peek at her because yesterday, the website crashed.
A palace official said that the website crashed because of the volume of traffic.
Rare Glimpse
The monarchy is known to be very private with their lives, however, this incident was the exception. Unsurprisingly, the palace’s website could not handle the traffic the photos garnered, judging by the crash.

About the Noble Consort
King Maha Vajiralongkorn bestowed the rank of “Chao Khun Phra” or noble consort on the 34-year-old former army nurse Sineenat Wonggvajirapakdi on his 67th birthday in July.
Her full royal title is Chao Khun Phra Sineenat Bilaskalayani.
Sineenat was born in the northern province of Nan and graduated from the Royal Thai Army Nursing College.
She trained as a pilot in Thailand and overseas, and served in the king’s royal bodyguard unit. She attained the rank of major-general in May 2019.

About The King
Vajiralongkorn was crowned king in May in a 3-day ceremony that Sineenat participated in. The ceremony took place a few days after the announcement that Vajiralongkorn had married Queen Suthida Vajiralongkorn na Ayudhya.
He is also known to be an avid cycling and aviation enthusiast who spends a lot of time in Germany.
