Your wedding day is possibly one of the most important days of your life. After all, you’d hopefully only have to go through it once.
But there are so many ways your special day can be screwed up.
Like your husband-to-be pulling a Xiao Qiang on you (if you don’t understand, just watch the video below: trust me, it’s worth your time):
Or you getting called out on #sponsorships on your wedding day.
Or a thousand and one other things that might just happen to you.
One such “danger” item is the videographer you hire to make a beautiful memory of your special day.
If you’re not careful and hire the wrong person, well, your special day is probably going to be unforgettable. Not in a beautiful way, though.
A Couple’s Shocking Wedding Video
Is it possible for a couple’s wedding video, that’s not Jay Chou and wife, to get 3/4 of a million views on YouTube?
I’d have said, impossible. But it happened.
According to World of Buzz, a newly-wed couple were so disappointed with the wedding video their videographer did for them.
It has Mickey and Minnie Mouse, a missile and the couple’s name in various effects throughout the video.
Below’s some of the screengrab from the video:
And trust me, it’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Shaky footage, random shooting angles, over-the-top animations, and awkward song choices dominated the entire video.
The first song was actually Jars of Heart. For the uninitiated, that’s a song that signifies heartbreak and tells a story of a love turning into hate.
Ouch.
Change of Videographer At The Last Minute
The couple explained that they had purchased a wedding package and one of the items in the package includes a wedding video.
The wife explained that she had checked out the videographer’s previous work.
However, a day before the wedding, she was allegedly informed that another videographer will be replacing the initial videographer for the project.
That was the reason why she didn’t have time to check his previous works.
However, even after speaking to the videographer, he insisted that the video is okay. It’s rare to find editors that can place animations into the video and he said that his video is unlike the many others you can find outside.
But you do have to agree that his video is definitely one of the rare few.
