Will Smith. We’ve seen him in many, many shows like Suicide Squad, Aladdin and more recently, Gemini Man so you know he’s got his acting skills locked down.

But have you seen him…. making dumplings?

I know, I know. Dumpling making skills aren’t usually found on a Hollywood actor’s resume. But, it’s safe to say Will Smith can be the exception and boy are his skills impressive.

Will Smith has made an appearance on Chinese TikTok or Douyin. In his uploaded video, he dons a traditional garment and well, makes dumplings.

Perhaps he was trying to wow his Chinese fans by dressing the part and partaking in the making of a dumpling. Either way, it worked.

The Dumpling Rose

Has anyone ever seen a dumpling rose? Is this the norm in China? Okay, I’ve just did a quick Google and there are various recipes for rose dumplings online. o:

But either way, the end product is really pretty.

According to Will Smith, aka part-time dumpling artist, it took him a grand total of five dumplings to shape it into a rose.

The video didn’t exactly show how he managed to do it. It kinda fast forwards and then suddenly, voila a rose dumpling is born.

Such art, much expert. Extra points for his classic expression.

Needless to say, Will Smith’s video was well-received, garnering a total of 2.8 million likes and 14,400 comments to date.

Will Smith has more than 6.8 million followers and 30.3 million hearts on TikTok.

And get this: He’s only just plonked himself on Chinese media, but that hasn’t stopped him from gaining more than a million followers and three million likes on Douyin.
